Coal Workers

A coal mine is a place where people sacrifice themselves to make a living. The Hashooni coal mine in Kerman, Iran, is one of those mines.

These people work for 13 years in Iran and, according to statistics, live a maximum of 10 to 15 years after retirement. A tragedy that is hard to believe. They experience the most danger with the lowest wages and lose many colleagues to accidents during their working lives.
